Invergordon & District Initiative
Survey of Community Needs for Public Spaces and Venues
The Invergordon & District Initiative would like to find out whether the community is satisfied with the range of venues, eg Arts Centre/Town Hall, Joss St Hall, etc available for community events and activities.
They would like to find out what venues are being used by which groups and when. This would show how much use is being made of them and whether there is scope for more use to be made of the venues. If there’s space and time available for more use, they would also like to find out if there are any barriers preventing this from happening. That might be because they’re not easily accessible for some members of the community or they may be considered too expensive to hire or not be suitable for some activities. There might be other possible venues which they’re not aware of and information is sought on these too.
A printed survey will be distributed to every household in Invergordon during the week 23-28th February by Royal Mail. The completed survey can either be handed in to the Service Point or the Library in the High Street or to the Invergordon Leisure Centre.
Or the survey can be filled in on-line at:

Surveys should be returned by Friday 6th March and the results will be discussed at a public meeting to be held thereafter.
If you would like more information about the survey, please contact Shona MacLennan of Solas Business Services Ltd on 01599 555410 or by e-mail at shona@solas-biz.co.uk.
