Invergordon is located on the Cromarty Firth north-shore and boasts stunning views towards the western Beins and Black Isle.
The shoreline road (B817) to Invergordon forms part of the historic Pictish Trail and the Ross and Cromarty Naval Trail both of which are a welcoming and less travelled detour off the A9 trunk road and Moray Firth Tourist Route.
Invergordon off the wall (IOTW) is a very apt name for the eclectic group that brings you the outdoor art gallery in the town.
So what’s it all about?
• Regeneration: IOTW had a vision to increase footfall through the town by creating unique attractions and also to bring the community closer.
• Community Cohesion: As you walk around the murals, bear in mind that each was commissioned by a different local community group, all united in their enthusiasm to transform our town through the power of our heritage.
• Evolution is our current project - a series of three exciting sculptures, all inspired by the community and being created by the nationally acclaimed artists that they chose.
